What if you could pick up a toy at Toys “R” Us, bring it home, and then upload it into a video game as a playable character? That’s the concept behind Activision’s Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure. It’s a new Spyro game, but Spyro the Dragon is just one of many characters Activision is bringing to life in Skylanders Spyro’s Adventure, debuting today at a special pre-Toy Fair event in New York City. Master known as Kaos has trapped 30 or so heroes in the real world, where they are frozen like statues. Players will use the toys to free the characters to adventure in the game world.
